The story behind

During the summers of 2018 and 2019 I worked as a volunteer for Rainbow4kids, a primary school near Mombasa, Kenya. I taught all sorts of subjects, but creative art was definitely the children’s favorite (and mine too!). We created dreamcatchers together and made loads of beautiful memories. This was the first time I ever made a dreamcatcher.
2020 saw our lives changing drastically because of Covid. This was also the case for the primary school Rainbow4kids in Kenya. In normal times, children receive breakfast and lunch at school. However, because of Covid, the school had to close, which meant no food for a lot of children. Within the organization of Rainbow4kids, we tried to raise money in various ways to buy flour for the children and their families. Mine was to make dreamcatchers and sell them. I enjoyed it so much that I never stopped making them !
What started as a charity project has become a passion, and also a way for me to meditate. I love creating new designs, selling them at local markets in Sydney and the Central Coast. As an astrologer, I wanted to blend astrology in my dreamcatchers, which led me create a collection of Astrocatchers, using the right colours, charms, crystals for each zodiac sign. I also give Reiki to my dreamcatchers, to help them stay connected to the Cosmos.
