What is archetypal astrology ?

Archetypal astrology is the study of celestial movements and their impact on human behaviour and personality. As the planets travel around the constellations, they have conversations with each other – these dialogues influence a person’s life and character. But how? Astrologers believe that each planet and zodiac sign represents certain universal human traits and experiences, which are called archetypes. An archetype is a pattern that connects the people of the world across time and culture – a term conceived by Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung.

 

What is a birth chart?

A birth chart is a picture of the skies at the moment a person was born. It shows where each planet was traveling and the conversations they had with each other. Therefore, in order to create a birth chart, astrologers need the exact date, time and place of birth.

Where can I find my birth details (date, time and place of birth)?

• Your birth certificate;

• The hospital where you were born might still have your records of birth;

• The town council of your first residence might still have your records of birth;

• Maybe your family members remember it or wrote it down in a baby book.

 

What happens before a birth chart reading?

In order to create your birth chart, I will need your exact date, time and place of birth. I will then analyze the placements and relationships of the planets at the moment you were born. I will also prepare a list of questions for you that we will discuss during our meeting, in order to deepen the understanding of your chart.

 

What happens during a birth chart reading?

​

During a birth chart reading, I will guide you around your birth chart. I will explain the placement of the planets, the conversations they have with each other, how these heavenly bodies influence your personality and life, and how you can use your chart to its highest potential. A birth chart reading can give you great personal insight.
In order to make the most of the reading, we will discuss your chart in the form of a conversation, where I will ask you questions to ensure we unravel all the secrets of your chart. It is completely up to you whether you’d like to take notes or not.

 

What happens after a birth chart reading?

Whether this reading was the start or continuation of your personal growth journey, you might feel overwhelmed for a few days and think about certain parts of our conversation more deeply. I would advise you to journal and take time to reflect.​

What are transits?

Transits are a predictive astrology tool. We look at the current placement of the planets in the sky and bring them to the Birth Chart. The conversations between current planets and natal planets reveal paths for growth, as well as challenges and opportunities. Transits enable to establish a time frame regarding these phases of life.

What is the difference between a Birth Chart Reading and a Transit Reading?

The birth chart is a fixed pattern that describes our personality, our core, our roots. From there, we grow, we evolve, we progress, to keep becoming better versions of ourselves. This evolution of the self can be understood and navigated by looking at transits: how the current placement of planets influences our natal planets. The conversations between transit planets and natal planets are paths for growth, though challenges and opportunities, which we will explore during a Transit Reading.

The goal of a Transit Reading is to understand which parts of you are ready to evolve, to give you insights regarding the time frame of the transits, and to equip you with tools to successfully navigate the transits and progress towards the next version of you.

Can I do a Transit Reading before a Birth Chart Reading?

A Transit Reading can only take place if we have already had a Birth Chart Reading together. Indeed, previous knowledge of your own chart makes it much easier to understand your transits.

How long in advance can I book an astrology session?

​

As it takes time to prepare an astrology reading, the first available time slots in the calendar will be in one week. Of course, you can also book a later session (up to two months).

Can I cancel or reschedule my astrology session?

​

You can cancel your astrology session up to 72 hours before the planned session. I will then refund your booking.
Cancellations within 72 hours before the planned session won’t allow for a refund, as I will already have spent several hours studying your birth chart.

Rescheduling is possible with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Appointments can be rescheduled within a month.
